A Welcome from Chip Estes
Director of Outreach, First Baptist Church of Bellevue
Let’s get real for a minute.
I’m Chip Estes—Director of Outreach here at First Baptist Church of Bellevue and at The Oak Center, one of our church’s frontline ministries built to serve the hurting, the struggling, and the searching.
After decades in the field as a first responder—and still serving today as a Sergeant with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department—I’ve seen the brokenness, the pain, and the weight people carry. I’ve also seen how much first responders, veterans, and everyday folks need a place to catch their breath and find real hope. That’s why I do what I do.
Outreach here isn’t soft. It’s not surface-level. It’s boots-on-the-ground, Gospel-driven work—whether it’s through a plate of food, a Celebrate Recovery meeting, a moment of prayer, or just showing up when someone’s world falls apart. We believe Jesus still meets people in the trenches—and we want to be the kind of church that does too.
My wife, Brandy, and our son, Hunter, stand with me in this mission. We love this community, and we’re not here to play church—we’re here to live it out.
If you’re looking for a place where real people do real ministry—and where you can serve, grow, and belong—come see what God’s doing at FBC Bellevue.
Standing strong,
Chip Estes

My Story
Chip Estes has dedicated his life to service—both in the line of duty and in the local church. A longtime first responder, Chip currently serves as Sergeant over the Warrants Division at the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department, where he brings strength, discipline, and leadership to the front lines of law enforcement.
Off duty, Chip continues that mission as the Director of Outreach for First Baptist Church of Bellevue and its boots-on-the-ground ministry arm, The Oak Center—a direct extension of the church’s calling to take the hope of Jesus to the streets. Whether it’s a hot meal, a recovery meeting, or a one-on-one conversation with someone walking through the fire, Chip helps lead outreach that’s hands-on, heart-first, and Gospel-centered.
He’s been faithfully married to his wife, Brandy, for over 20 years. Together, they’ve raised a strong son, Hunter, and built their lives around serving the people and community they love.
