About Us
First Baptist Church of Bellevue exists to glorify Christ by lovingly proclaiming and living out the Gospel at the intersection of faith and community, reaching our neighbors with grace, truth, and the hope found in Jesus.
Our Story
Since 1952, First Baptist Church of Bellevue has stood at the corner of Highway 98 and Highway 598 as a faithful witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As an active member of the Southern Baptist Convention, we are a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church committed to the authority of God’s Word, the power of prayer, and the mission of making disciples. We exist to love God and love people — reaching out to our local community with grace, truth, and compassion. Whether through preaching, teaching, worship, missions, or fellowship, our desire is to see lives transformed by the hope of the Gospel and to be a light for Christ at the intersection of faith and community.
We are grateful to be part of such a wonderful and growing community here in Bellevue. Our church family is passionate about serving others — whether it’s through outreach ministries, Celebrate Recovery, community meals, or simply lending a hand to a neighbor in need. We believe that the love of Christ is best shown through action, and it is our joy to be a shining light to those around us, pointing others to the truth, hope, and redemption found in Jesus.
